Our first stop is Madaba, known as the “City of Mosaics,” located west of the Dead Sea along the historic Kings Highway. This charming town is home to the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land, beautifully preserved on the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Madaba’s rich history and vibrant mosaics make it a must-visit destination for travelers exploring Jordan.

Next, we’ll visit Mount Nebo, just 10 kilometers west of Madaba. This sacred site is believed to be the place where Moses glimpsed the Promised Land before his passing. From the summit, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and even the rooftops of Jerusalem on a clear day.
