1. Booking Your Holiday
a) Your holiday contract is with Sherazade Travel & Tourism ("the Company"), registered in Amman. All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.
b) All communications from the Company regarding your holiday will be sent to the address provided on the booking form.
c) Bookings must be made through an authorised representative of the Company. A completed booking form and a deposit of 50% of the total holiday cost must be submitted at the time of booking.
d) Receipt of the deposit and booking form does not guarantee confirmation. The booking is only confirmed upon issuance of a written confirmation notice by the Company. The Company reserves the right to refuse any booking without providing a reason and will return any deposit received in such cases.
e) Full payment for your holiday must be made at least 30 days before the departure date. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit. The signatory of the booking form guarantees payment of the total amount and is responsible for ensuring timely payment. No payment reminders will be sent.
f) For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
g) Any special requests (e.g., dietary requirements) must be noted on the booking form.
h) The Company will provide the services as confirmed in writing.
2. Price Policy
a) The Company is not obligated to provide a cost breakdown for your holiday.
b) The Company reserves the right to notify you of any price increases before accepting your booking.
c) After issuing a Confirmation Invoice, the holiday price may be subject to surcharges due to variations in:

Transportation costs, including fuel

Published airfares
-
Taxes or fees (e.g., airport landing taxes)
-
Exchange rates
-
Government-imposed tax increases
The Company will absorb surcharges up to 2% of the holiday price (excluding insurance and amendment charges). Only amounts exceeding 2% will be passed on to you. Surcharges will be communicated via a revised Confirmation Invoice.
d) If a surcharge increases the total holiday price by 10% or more, you may cancel the booking within 14 days of receiving the revised invoice and receive a full refund, including any amendment charges.
e) You may choose to pay for your holiday in full at the time of booking to fix the price. To qualify, the full payment must reach the Company within 7 days of the Confirmation Invoice date.
f) The Company cannot reduce holiday prices if the value of the Omani Rial strengthens.
3. Cancellation and Changes by the Company
a) The Company reserves the right to make changes to your holiday at any time. You will be notified of any changes as soon as possible. If a major change is made (not due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control), you may:

Choose an alternative holiday

Cancel and receive a full refund
Compensation may be payable for major changes as outlined below.
b) No compensation will be provided for minor changes, including:

Minimal changes to departure/arrival times

Changes to aircraft type
-
Accommodation or restaurant changes to a comparable or superior standard
c) Major changes include:
-
Cancellation
-
Changes to your departure airport
-
Delays exceeding 12 hours
-
Accommodation changes to an inferior standard
d) Compensation will not be paid for changes or cancellations caused by force majeure events, including:

Acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or industrial disputes
-
Natural or man-made disasters
-
Technical transport issues, airport closures, or adverse weather conditions
It is essential to purchase adequate travel insurance.
e) The Company reserves the right to cancel your holiday at any time before departure. In such cases, a full refund will be provided, but no compensation will be payable.
f) Transportation is subject to the carrier’s conditions of carriage, which may limit or exclude liability. These conditions are often governed by international agreements.
g) Failure to pay the balance 30 days before departure will result in cancellation, and applicable cancellation charges will apply.
h) The Company may refuse any individual as a tour member if their behaviour endangers the health, safety, or enjoyment of others. In such cases, liability is limited to a refund of monies paid, less costs for services utilised and administrative fees.
4. Cancellation and Changes by You
a) You may cancel your holiday at any time by notifying the Company in writing. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

30 days or more before departure: 50% of deposit

15–30 days before departure: 100% of deposit

8–15 days before departure: 80% of tour cost

1–7 days before departure: 100% of tour cost
b) After confirmation, one set of amendments is permitted free of administrative charges, but you will be liable for any additional costs (e.g., airline or hotel fees). Further amendments will incur a charge of 25 Omani Rials per change.
5. Our Responsibilities
a) The Company does not own or manage the aircraft, accommodation, restaurants, or other facilities used in your holiday. While care is taken in selecting service providers, the Company does not inspect these facilities and makes no representations regarding their quality.
b) The Company is not liable for death, illness, or injury resulting from:

The actions or omissions of any tour member
-
Third-party actions unrelated to the holiday
-
Unforeseeable or unpreventable events
c) The Company is not liable for incidents occurring during activities not included in the holiday package. General assistance will be provided where appropriate.
d) No refunds will be provided for unused tickets unless a refund can be obtained from the carrier or provider.
6. Your Responsibilities
a) You are responsible for arranging adequate travel insurance. Proof of insurance must be provided on the booking form.
b) Each tour member must possess valid passports, visas, and necessary documentation. The Company is not responsible for delays or expenses due to incomplete documentation.
c) You must check in for flights on time and present yourself for all pre-booked holiday components. The Company is not liable for missed flights or unused services.
d) You must behave in an orderly manner and not disrupt others or damage the Company’s reputation. Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of your holiday without compensation.
e) The signatory of the booking form must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions of tour members.
f) All personal belongings are the owner’s responsibility. The Company is not liable for loss, damage, or delay unless caused by its negligence.
7. Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all Company-operated vehicles. Non-smoking rooms are reserved unless otherwise requested. Confirmation of smoking rooms depends on hotel availability.
8. Waiver
Clients may be required to sign a Waiver of Responsibility form before the tour, acknowledging the inherent risks of certain activities and their responsibility for personal safety.
9. Disclaimer
The Company has made reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on its website but cannot accept responsibility for errors or omissions.
10. Complaints
a) Any issues during your holiday must be reported immediately to the relevant service provider and the Company. Failure to do so may limit the Company’s ability to resolve the issue and affect your eligibility for compensation.
b) All disputes are governed by Omani law and subject to the jurisdiction of Omani courts.
c) All information provided by the Company is given in good faith but is subject to these booking conditions.
11. Data Protection
The Company may collect personal information (e.g., dietary requirements, medical conditions) necessary for your holiday. This information is kept confidential and shared only with relevant service providers. You may inspect this information during the Company’s working hours.
